Data EngineerMotorbase Performance Apr 2022 - Dec 2022I was responsible for the data systems on the Ford Focus BTCC car, involving going through data with the driver and analysing the vehicle performance. I also managed the Cosworth hybrid system, working closely with Cosworth to ensure it was cooled correctly and to diagnose errors.For the 2022 season I was the Data Engineer for Sam Osborne. It was a fantastic opportunity to work along side the Teams Championship winners, Napa Racing UK, and put my experience at Multimatic to work. -

I was involved in all stages of the design process, assembly, dyno testing and tuning, and finally fitting the dampers to the vehicle. I also had the opportunity to design a novel suspension device which I built and tested, matching the theoretical calculations.
