Thank you for visiting my Linkedin page, my names Ben Mackle. I'm an engineering technician (weapons) by trade, having spent 22 years in the Royal Navy learning a technical discipline and becoming a leader; managing teams to make targets a reality.I believe in the values taught by the military: Commitment, Problem solving, Courage, Discipline, Respect, Integrity and Loyalty. Not as buzz words but as a tool to give direction in life. Values to come back to and assess yourself on. I enjoy working with teams where the standards that we demand, produce a personal effect and further more allow us to own our choices and decisions.Teams that work together and assist where some are weak and some are strong is imperative. For although a person is strong alone, together we are stronger and can produce much much more over time.In the 22 years as a weapons engineer in the Royal Navy I've experienced many things, the main part of me and my teams job was keeping a warship keeping fully operational buy fault finding and rectifying defects so that the ship can offer everything that is needed to complete what's needed for command and fleet. the skill set and knowledge i have learnt over the years will be an asset to any company, whether it be hands on re-building something or managing a team or organising outside contractors.
