A Research Director with 25 years experience in an agency setting as a Research Director, designing and directing social research for a range of public sector clients. I lead on our client-facing business, building capacity and sitting on our Management Board. Previously, I spent 7 years in research executive roles, starting as a graduate trainee 1995-6. My career has also included 4 years client-side in which I led a research function, inputting directly into policy-making, evaluation and strategy.At Ipsos, I have been Business Manager across six areas - Housing, Regeneration, Transport, Environment, Politics (polling) and Charities - with responsibility for these £1million+ turnover business areas. I have also led work in Local Government and Health research.I am responsible for business generation and management of bids, and my record includes successfully securing large contracts in a very competitive environment. I direct teams on some of our largest accounts being responsible for performance to the highest levels of the civil service and to Cabinet Minister level.The quality of the research I have designed and directed is evidenced by numerous publications covering a range of different styles.
