Within this role, I am responsible for planning, coordinating, scheduling, and supervising the work of the team to ensure all work is completed on time to an exceptionally high standard, as well as carrying out fabricating and welding work for various clients, including welding wire ropes for structural bridges and offshore use Highlights from my role include: ► Maximising productivity through implementing improved processes to assist in the timely completion of work, such as using pre shot blasted steels to save on grinding times and utilising tools to alleviate bottle necks and reduce drilling times► Significantly improving the organisation of the storage areas, allowing parts to be located more efficiently reducing manufacturing downtime► Inspect welds visually or using MPI for adherence to specifications, highlighting and correcting any defects to meet the relevant standards► Reading, interpreting and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, weld symbols, bills of materials, and other written instructions

As a Plater-Welder, I was responsible for fabricating and welding structural parts of petrol station forecourt canopies, columns, beams, bracings and brackets Highlights from my role include: ► Effectively following engineering drawings to ensure all components were fitted correctly► Applying vinyl to facia panels for canopies ensuring a high quality of work was provided► Utilising various equipment such as gantry cranes, to safely move materials around the workshop
