About Ben Mccarthy

I have used my time in university to get as much hands on research experience with machine learning as possible, and am breaking into combining machine learning with cybersecurity to improve both aspects. After graduating from Computer Science (Advanced) with a major in Artificial Intelligence, I am currently lost in space with my honours project while on a cadetship with DSTG.Community culture is very important to me so I make an effort wherever I can to build it. I took opportunities within Robogals Adelaide to pay forward the passion and insight I received from them in high school to encourage marginalised communities to consider STEM as a future pathway, and the Computer Science Club to support students with the degree and make them feel welcome and achieve their best.
