Chartered Charge Qualified Naval Marine Engineer Officer with over twenty years experience in both Marine/Mechanical and Electronics Engineering. I bring with me strong operational Marine, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering experience having served as a Marine Engineer Officer of an ocean going vessel. Experience includes managing day to day and future operations and leading over ninety senior and junior marine technicians. Strong exposure and experience to safety regulations especially in a maritime environment (danger tags, hot works, confined spaces, asbestos management etc), deep maintenance requirements of ocean going vessels, vessel refit requirements, technical compliance, technical risk management, technical documentation, reporting and management of defective materiel, engineering change management, maintenance management systems, planned and corrective maintenance of equipment, bunkering of ocean going vessels, dockside requirements for ocean going vessels and personnel management. Strong working knowledge of the Navy Technical Regulatory System (NTRS).Strong ability to translate and implement organisational strategy into operational plans.
