Starting summer of 2021, I joined SAIN labs to help conduct research with the goal of improving password manager usability and adoption through nudging. I worked with a team of fellow students and professors to design and conduct a password manager user study. My role consisted of helping to create and implement simulated password manager user interfaces to observe how people behave when creating passwords. Using this data, we aim to develop technologies to make password creation easier.

Newmarket, Ontario, Canada

My first job was working part-time as both a lifeguard and swim instructor for the Town of Newmarket. These roles played a huge part in developing my leadership and collaboration skills. Leading large groups of children, singing songs, and playing games helped me come out of my shell and build my confidence. While lifeguarding, my responsibilities included maintaining pool patrons' safety and performing first-aid when necessary. As a swim instructor, my role included teaching swimming and life-saving techniques to classes of up to ten children. My responsibilities included organizing my lessons, teaching a wide variety of age groups and demographics, and providing assessments with feedback to help my students improve.
