Role involving both claims and underwriting for personal insurance. Underwriting rentals, homes, automobiles, and inland marine insurance policies. Shadowing adjusters on both property and automobile losses. This job gave me the opportunity to learn about the insurance industry. A key skill I had to use was communication. There was a lot of communication with me and clients to ensure mutual acceptance of any policy changes that needed to be made.
