As Gibraltar financial controller I managed a finance team of 5 with my main aim being to assist the business through the provision of timely and accurate data which has been achieved by the team driving the reporting close timeline down from 10 days to 5. I am constantly seeking efficiencies and review our processes which have changed considerably over my time at bwin.partyMain responsibilities include:• Overall responsibility for the production and delivery of all financial and management accounts for 20 group companies• Responsibility for all aspects of the day to day management of the finance team and activities.• Work with divisional budgets holders across the business to produce annual budgets and monthly forecasting• Produce cost center reports, with actual vs budget analysis and commentary• Review group SLA agreements. A rapidly growing company, my main task was to review current procedures and seek to improve the processes and introduce systems to allow accurate internal and external reporting. I designed process flow charts and introduced a documents library for reference for finance staff.I managed a finance team of 8, consisting of AR, AP and reporting team.
