As the first Front End Engineer at United Technologies’ new Digital Accelerator in Dumbo, I had a substantial impact helping bring UTC into the cutting edge of UI software development.2017-2018 - I was tech lead for digital.utc.com, built with Vue, Vuex, Vue-router, axios, Jest, I also designed api’s to consume content from a headless CMS. This was a team of two devs. (PWA with 100% on lighthouse)2017-2018 - I was tech lead on our design system and re-usable components for Vue and React leveraging styled-components 💅 (United Technologies Design System). Architect and lead a team of 4 engineers.2019 - I was Front End on a big app which allows analysts to examine detailed measurements on thousands of jet engine parameters for Pratt & Whitney. Flexed E-charts hard. Also very advanced implementations of AG-Grid. (Vue, Typescript, Vuex, E-charts, AG-Grid, Jest)2019 - I was Front End lead on a slick app that displayed streaming data from avionics sensors in real time from planes in flight.I animated the location of the plane in real time using highly customized MapGL and MapBox).We leveraged Server Sent Events into a Vue app and I animated line charts with E-charts over the duration of the flight, alerting when thresholds were crossed.
