In my role as Manager of Post & Studio Operations, I am responsible for creating and maintaining the systems, services, processes, and resources that allow our post and studio teams to operate at maximum efficiency.On the post production side, my duties include: • Integrating and maintaining our asset management platform, Iconik, and providing training materials as well as direct support for the whole company. • Writing Python web apps that integrate our asset management platform with other third party technologies, such as Signiant Media Shuttle and Telestream Vantage, empowering editors to initiate complex workflows on their own. • Creating and sharing clear resources to our staff and freelance editors, such as workflow guides, deliverables specs, training materials, projects templates, and more. • Managing the logistics of assets throughout the content lifecycle, from ingest onto active storage through archival in deep storage. • Working closely with the Post Production Supervisor to ensure everyone on the post team has everything they need to focus on creativity and execution.On the studio side, my duties include: • Overseeing resource allocation to ensure we meet the demands of our myriad shows, including studio spaces, crew, and equipment. • Managing the technologies in our New York and LA studios to allow us to produce high-quality content quickly and efficiently. • Supervising our in-house studio team and ensuring they have the resources and support needed to execute at a high level. • Leading projects aimed at stepping up our studio capabilities, such as upgrades to our cameras, robotics, and direct ingest systems. • Providing direct support on shows where needed.

As Post Production Manager, I oversaw the post process for 40 weekly edits across 7 channels, from ingest to delivery. Working with the post and IT teams, I designed and maintained a post workflow with the goal of maximizing creativity and minimizing downtime. With such a large edit team (many of whom are freelancers), it is critical to provide support, resources, and templates to ensure we operate as efficiently and homogeneously as possible.

As a freelance editor, I have worked on numerous creative projects, including short films, music videos, comedy sketches, brand marketing videos, internal training videos, and more.Some brands I have worked with include Whirlpool, MillerCoors, and Google.

I joined the startup comedy channel as an editor before the channel officially launched in April 2016. We created multiple comedy videos per day, including sketches, news updates, parodies, and listicles.In addition to editing, I also served as technical director for multiple live shows.

As Edelman's first creative cohort, I joined a young video team tasked with supporting the PR firm with engaging sales pitches, sizzles, social content, and more. I assisted on set and in the edit room as we produced videos for clients such as Samsung, Unilever, and Heineken.
