I started in construction at the age of 18, working for a small Electrical Contractor in the Dallas area. In 1996 while working in the electrical trade, I tried to build a business in fence and retaining wall construction and rehab. After 4.5-5 years of electrical work and trying to build a business I met a United Rentals Salesman on the job, and after talking to him I was soon interviewing for a counter position with United in Plano, TX. I worked there for 3-3.5 years then moved on. I tried working for a few different rental companies before landing a 10 year position with Sunbelt Rentals.. I was given the position of outside sales shortly after starting with the company. Building working relationships, and personal relationships with my customers. Working a territory that was general construction, road & bridge, housing and industrial. I built 3 territories to a 25% plus market share and one more to 45% market share even in a economy down fall. Specializing in customer service and BEING THEIR EQUIPMENT GO TO GUY. I figured if my customer had a need or a problem then I needed to be there to help them solve it. In Jan. of 2014 I started in the Crane Industry. Being a different animal the thought is still the same. Focusing on Safety and Service I am working to become a difference maker to my company and customers.
