As a GEAR Up Student Support Specialist with Greeley-Evans School District 6, I provide tailored academic support and guidance to students from 6th grade to high school, fostering success and enhancing their understanding of post-secondary education. My role involves offering academic tutoring, designing and executing programs like FAFSA/CASFA nights and STEM workshops, collaborating with faculty to address challenges, conducting statistical analysis for program evaluation, building strong relationships with students and stakeholders, and providing personalized guidance through one-on-one sessions and appointments. I also organize college campus tours to help students envision their future academic paths.
