Responsible for the full project management of all new centre openings, expansions & client fit-outs over all IWG Brands (Regus, Spaces, Signature…) throughout the Netherlands. Highlights include opening Spaces House Modernes, Utrecht 7200sqm, Spaces De Walvis, Amsterdam 4,000sqm and the first Signature brand in Central, Utrecht.

Career break to renovate a large property in the south of France and establish a boutique hotel business. Hands-on renovation of the property, then creation and day-to-day operation of the business, from marketing to all aspects of hospitality. Sale of the business prompting a move back to the Netherlands.

Working within the EMEA facilities department; responsible for EMEAR-wide level procurement projects and contract management.

Providing cost and project management consultancy services for many high-profile clients within the Benelux region including Generator Hostels, NBC Universal and Phillips. Responsibilities included; - Monitoring of works progress on site, providing accurate and useful monthly reporting against programme and budget. - Change management regarding scope of work developments; reviewing and agreeing cost variations. Management of client direct procurement.- Preparation of estimates and budgets for feasibility studies.

May 2012 – Nov 2012: Secondment to Raynesway Construction, Glasgow (a Balfour Beatty Company)Portfolio of smaller projects; construction of access roads, electrical sub-station and bridge refurbishments.May 2010 – May 2012: Forth Road Bridge, Viaduct Bearing Replacement, Nr Edinburgh, Bridge refurbishment Project; procurement and management of large steelwork, scaffolding and further complex subcontracts. Jan 2008 – May 2010: Scottish Water FrameworkWaste water treatment plants and pumping stations refurbishments in addition to gravity sewage pipelines and reservoir-tanks installations.Oct 2006 – Jan 2008: Forth Rail Bridge Refurbishment, Nr Edinburgh, Steelwork repairs and repainting of Bridge/Marine Works.
