I joined TSS as an engineer. I drove to various places around the country, including Scotland,Birmingham, and London to complete servicing, attend to fault calls and assist in the installation ofindustrial security equipment.Key responsibilities:● Greeting, liaising, and explaining jobs to clients on various sites.● Monitoring, re-wiring and installation of differing power supply units, control panels andinverters. Working with both lower voltage and mains voltage.● Explaining and documenting a timeline of all jobs to upload on a tablet for review.● Fault finding, servicing and installation of different equipment such as barriers, bollards,gates, and automatic door operators.● Responsible for a company tablet, credit card, phone, keys, and van.● Stock intake and monitoring at the workshop.Qualifications:● PASMA – Towers, level U● ECS certified● IPAF 3a and 3b

I consulted with engineers, communicated with customers and worked with the service team to deliver quality service to the clients.Key responsibilities:● Over 150 job closures a day; checking if the engineers report has been filed, pricing the workup correctly and ensuring that any customer portals are closed correctly.● Providing quotations to customers. This includes both international businesses and privateclients.● Customer support: picking up phones and answering emails when the rest of the team isbusy.● Weekend work; logging new jobs, scheduling for the engineers, and managing the inbox.● Performing system sweeps; checking for lost jobs, moving on work orders, closing unneededjobs, and contacting suppliers or customers regarding old orders.● Organising the return of engineers to uncompleted jobs.● Out of hours work; opening and closing, turning on or off all lights, closing shutter and settingthe alarm.
