I use play as a tool to teach students a love and understanding of themselves and the world around them.Since I began my teaching career in 1997, I have always been interested in blending disciplines. Though my studies focused on Fine Art, I also have interests in math, science, history, creative writing, physical education and personal development. There is potential magic where these subjects intersect. I have sought opportunities to collaborate with teachers from other disciplines and show students that these worlds of learning do not need to be confined to separate compartments - they can breathe life into each other when allowed to mix!
