Preparation of the Groups’ multi billion dollar annual financial statements, comprised of 130 entities and involving financial elements such as Put Options, Stock Exchange delisting, Convertible Bonds, Employee Share Options, discounted shareholder loans and the buy back of minority interests. Along with being the main point of contact and also responsible for the preparation of the majority of audit work requested.In addition to this, I was also assisted the FP&A team with financial modelling for business valuation purposes as well as potential asset acquisitions. Once this was completed I designed a consolidation and budget template for 130 entities which used 3 different accounting programs.

RunTech entered the wider group in late 2017, after which I was bought across to manage a finance team of six and integrate the finance department with the rest of the group. This involved monthly and quarterly management reports, introducing new accounting processes and improving existing ones, cash management, budget preparation and client account management.

I was originally contracted at Market Tech to cover a 9 month maternity leave as a management accountant for 25 entities spread across the UK, Israel and Germany. In October 2017 I facilitated in the sale of these entities, and then had my contract extended to take on a Project Accountant role for the wider group. This role involved both consolidation processes for the wider group, assistance with the group budget and also financial modelling for new property acquisitions.

After successfully becoming a Chartered Accountant, my partner and I moved back to London, where I contracted with Associated British Foods plc. This 3 month contract begun with assisting in the preparation of annual statutory accounts, and led to an analytical role on the monthly management accounts.

Once I completed my university studies and took a gap year, I gained employment at Level One Chartered Accountants and begun my trainings to be a Chartered Accountant. Whilst at Level One, I was able to build a substantial client base as well as given the opportunity to take on a managerial role, which reported directly to the firm’s principle.

Gaining an internship straight out of year 12 enabled me to both study and work full time, allowing me to benefit from transferring skills and knowledge learnt in one to the other. Whilst at Daley & Co I progressed to preparing management accounts, as well as year end accounts and weekly bookkeeping for some clients. In addition to this, I was also involved in year end audits for our respective clients.
