One day when I was young, I asked my mother about a mug she had with the logo of a mutual fund company printed on it. She explained to me what the logo meant and taught me about investing.That day, my interest in investing was born. I learned how my family had been supported for many years. My father, you see, was killed when I was young, and my mother had wisely invested the life insurance.That experience taught me the value of quality investments, good advice and the power of markets to provide for the needs of life. I never forgot that lesson and it inspires me today to invest well and improve the quality of life for those I serve.I started with Edward Jones in 2004 and have never looked back. I think this is a great company where I am allowed to put clients first, and spend my time serving their needs.It is good to specialize. My wife and I have taken that to heart. We have specialized in the raising of girls. Together we have four children, all girls. Family is the joy of my life and my girls are extra special in that way. Given the choice, I would have it no other way (though I did wonder, when one daughter signed up for drama, why she thought we needed more of that).When not working or spending time with my family, I like to learn new things. I enjoy working with my hands and learning new skills. I enjoy working in the woodshop, metal fabrication, gardening, etc. One of my goals in life is to learn everything I can know about this world and how things work.I also enjoy serving and improving the community we live in.
