My work description is the following:-Improve design to optimize for manufacturing.-Validate the BOM and correct if needed.-Interact with manufacturing team to share assembly and construction product details.-Designing and manufacturing of specialized light fittings.-Creating the BOM for specialized fittings.-Operate, maintain and repair test equipment, instrumentation, and systems in accordance with engineering specifications or defined test practices.-Conduct laboratory activities within applicable standards and procedures.-Evaluate the test results and suggest improvements if the product does not comply with standards.-Develop and improve laboratory procedures in order to achieve the best results and to find better solutions for further testing.-Supervise and coordinate all personnel and assign personnel to the best advantage to maximize small-scale assembly.-Interact with manufacturing team to share assembly and construction product details.-Ensure that quality, generally, is built into the product and that all products comply with relevant quality and customer requirements.-General maintenance and housekeeping in a workshop.-Ensure that the necessary equipment and materials are available to workshop assembly staff at all times in order for assembly to continue without unnecessary disturbances.-Scheduling and planning of all non-standard products using the provided software tools and communicate if necessary to the operations manager.-Providing technical product advice to the sales representatives.-Provide on-site support, fault finding and rectification of LED and Solar installations.-Providing training to Clients on installation and maintenance of LED and Solar systems.
