Joined the Marine Corp right out of high school. I completed my terms of service with an Honorable Discharge After the Marine Corp I went to work for Albertsons Distribution Center, in Ponca City OK. While working for Albertsons, I worked every department on the operations side of , to include many functions of Receiving, Fire Safety, Loading, Shipping and Inventory Control, on up to Operations Supervisor. I eventually moved over to the Transportation side for the last 8 of a total 19 years with Albertsons. As a Transportation Supervisor, I participated in the routing of the days business, to destinations in 11 different states. This involved keeping and maintaining relationships with 3rd party carriers. During this time with Albertsons I was enlisted in the Oklahoma National Guard for the first 8 of 19 years. After leaving Albertsons, I worked in the oil field briefly, building tank batteries. Most recently worked for SandRidge energy as Senior Field Inventory Tech. Basically back in the inventory business. Receiving, storing, shipping and maintaining. Laid off as a result of reduction in force. Back to work a couple of months later with Gexpro Services. Supply chain work.
