I’ve been a musician since I was a child, and I’ve played professionally off and on for the majority of my adult life. Becoming a proficient musician has taught me a lot about myself. Most importantly it has taught me how to systematically learn to do new things at a very high level. It’s a hard way to make a living, and I’ve never found myself in the right place at the right time. Every time that I’ve needed or wanted to develop a new professional or recreational skill as an adult, I’ve used my experience as a musician to accelerate the process. I’ve become a top producing professional with superior sales, marketing, management and content creation skills. I have a talent for graphic design and web development and a strong knowledge of film and photography creation and editing with proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Light Room, and Premier Pro. This combination of skills has allowed me to take what I know about selling and creatively utilize those skills in a digital format. The combination of a sales background paired with a creative digital skill set means that I can create content with a purpose. The result is content that converts. Because I understand how a video will need to be edited, it makes it a lot easier to shoot the exact footage that I’ll need to complete the project. If I’m creating a digital ad, I can shoot and edit a photograph that has the appropriate amount negative space to allow for text overlays. Having a comprehensive understanding of the “Big Picture” allows me to conceptualize a project from start to finish.
