CurrentBen is an urban planner with over 29 years experience in private consulting, Local Government and State Government. Ben has spent the last 20 years in private practice. Ben specialises in development facilitation and negotiation as well as the preparation of planning policy documents for both the private sector and government for developing areas. Ben has a great understanding of the broad range of factors influencing development within the urban planning sphere. Ben has particular experience in the management of large development projects and also the preparation of planning policy. His particular area of expertise includes:- development planning for major projects including large mixed use developments, residential developments and retail establishments- planning instrument preparation including local area plans, master plans, development control plans, planning schemes and planning policies- infrastructure planning (especially large scale transport projects and telecommunications planning)- community consultation and agency liaison in planning instrument formulation and development planning and the compilation and management of major environmental impact statements for development projectsBen is a member of the Property Council of Australia Division Council.
