This included over 160 crossings, 40 Intermediate Signals, and 20 Control Points. The project extended ITCS, allowing 110MPH operation from Chicago to Detroit.- RET (Rotterdamse Elektrische Tram) – 2009-2014Senior Signal Engineer on a project to install ATC dual cab system on Rotterdam’s light rail system using redundant warm/standby VHLC and ELIX. Developed test procedures to prove CENELEC SIL-4 compliance for the hardware design and application logic. Designed and tested the application logic for a depot with over 200 routes through 32 storage tracks.- KCS – 2007-2008Senior Signal Engineer on a project to signal last yard limit segment of KCS mainline in Leesville LA. Replaced EC2 units on 20 miles of territory and updated several crossings. Designed Control Points for entry into new International Freight Gateway in Grandview MO.- TriMet ATC – 2006-2008Signal Engineer on a project to install Time to Penalty ATC system for red signal enforcement. Developed drawing typicals for first project to utilize the ELIX- MTA – 2004-2006Signal Engineer on a project to double track and re-signal the light rail system in Baltimore MD using AFTC and VHLC. Designed and verified location plans and logic for several Control Points.- METRA – 2002-2004Signal Engineer on a project to re-signal segments of the North Central Service line using EC5 and VHLC.
