I have the privilege of leading the Web Content and Web Platform Engineering domain at Peloton, overseeing an organization of six squads responsible for all non-fitness web technology in support of our direct-to-consumer business. Tonzof was an online marketplace connecting a network of individual sellers, distributors and manufacturers with massive retail outlets like Amazon, Walmart, eBay, etc. in addition to our own retail store front. Managing the logistics, inventory and pricing framework meant that we needed to have many autonomous engines running that could manage the many dependencies on external entities.Key areas of focus: - Continuous improvements to speed, accuracy and redundancy of the push & pull processes that moved orders, line items, money and logistical information through the system while pulling in pricing optimizations and new product availability for over 1 million individual products. - Leveraging AWS Mechanical Turk to monitor quality and check for inconsistencies in product details across 12+ retail outlets. - Creating and enforcing new product data standards for programmatic problem solving, partner feed consistency and reporting accuracy - Working with several pricing, sales and integration platforms (Wiser, Listrack, Mandrill, Mozu, Channel Advisor, etc.) to increase our efficiency and utilization of partner platform capabilities - Generating quarterly plans and goals for the engineering team through collaboration with sales and operations departments for company-wide alignment

I built the integration web services to connect the new telephony stack for the Spectrum/Charter/Time Warner merger. This telephony stack supports 10 million customers and is the first large scale telephony platform to be fully connected through the cloud (AWS).I leveraged Java 7, Jersey, Guice for the Netflix OSS platform on AWS. This integration service bundled the communication of several back-end telephony and account platforms to provide a central REST service for all front-end applications (Phone Online Manager, Soft-client applications, etc.) in dealing with Charter's next-generation customer phone service.

As the Manager of Web Development I developed with a team of 5 in PHP, SQL Server, JQuery, Bootstrap and Less for the company's ecommerce platform(s), key generation/maintenance, customer service interface and various supporting interfaces throughout the company. The group I managed was a group of senior and advanced web developers between San Mateo, CA and Denver, CO. This diverse group integrated with teams all over the globe to integrate product, licensing and usage information for customer service and self-support platforms.

As the Software Engineering Manger I oversee a group of 6 Software Engineers focusing on a variety of programs, processes and computer languages. We work in different application layers including: - Data sync (push & pull) programs - Software & hardware monitoring tools - Web applications (UI & server-side) - API DevelopmentAs a developer I also performed the following duties: - Develop UIs, web services and back-end processes for telephony systems within the corrections industry. - Created a robust web service platform which served many transport protocols (SOAP, RPC, REST) using one logical code base. - Managed database normalization and deprecation project to clarify and streamline data source issues within an existing Postgres database design - Created BASH scripts for software installation on RHEL/CentOS machines. - Worked bug fixes and new features into production versions of our primary PHP based user interface ranging from minor JavaScript errors to PHP efficiency improvements to new functionality. - Offered assistance to the VP of Technology regarding best practices in transition from a distributed application to a centralized platform.

Developed outward facing web applications and the company web site. Developed in primarily PHP / MySQL environment using the Prototype and Scriptaulous frameworks for dynamic delivery of AJAX content. REST and SOAP APIs were utilized to connect vendor content and functionality to the presentation platform of grandecom.com and grandecom.net.
