I led MOD's contribution to cross-Government work on further devolution for Wales delivering a significant piece of constitutional change, including liaison with MOD Lawyers and the Wales Office to ensure drafting of Defence reservations met policy requirements, providing advice to the Secretary of State for Defence on issues and measures required to protect Defence interests.

I supported the Permanent Secretary (PUS), by providing timely and accurate advice on a range of subjects, communicating the PUS's decisions to the Department. Acting as a sounding board and trusted advisor for the PUS, including provision of quality advice, and providing strategic support on high profile issues.
