As a board member at The Max Vincze Foundation, I help raise funds and awareness for NUT Carcinoma research, a rare and aggressive cancer that affects adolescents and young adults. I attend meetings with Dr. Christopher French's laboratory at the Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center and Dr. Benjamin Vincent's lab at the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, where I learn about the latest developments and breakthroughs in this field. I also design fundraising merchandise and spread awareness through social media platforms.I graduated from California Lutheran University in May 2023 with a BA in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, earning Summa Cum Laude, departmental honors, and distinction. I conducted fruit fly research for three years under the mentorship of Dr. David Marcey, focusing on genetics and developmental biology. I also played division III collegiate tennis and served as a SAAC representative. I am passionate about clinical/translational research, precision medicine, global and population health, and medical oncology.
