I’m an accomplished and motivated professional using my transferable skills in administrative assistance and customer service to transition towards a career in medical billing.Equipped with a degree in Business Administration, I have held a variety of positions integral to business operations and ensuring customer satisfaction across a range of industries. I’ve worked in the oil and gas industry as a Dispatcher managing the shipment of oil field equipment and as a Shop Foreman with Frank’s International, overseeing inventory and equipment troubleshooting and maintenance. I’ve also worked in the food and beverage industry, as a Shift Leader and Trainer with Starbucks.I acquired a Medical Billing & Coding Specialist certification, eager to apply my skillset to a new field in which I held interest and some general familiarity. I recently accepted a Medical Billing Administrator position with Rapid Radiology. In this role, I not only work with the Director of Finance to process all billing and coding, but also go above and beyond to develop initiatives and optimize processes.I use my strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills to drive a dynamic and innovative professional environment. I spearheaded an internship program for the company, and as part of it I help ensure that all participants receive all the guidance and support they need to obtain their certifications.
