Extensive aseptic/contamination free sampling of the manufacturing environment, including testing of airs (viable and non-viable particulates), surfaces and waters. Testing of raw materials, WIP and finished products around the manufacturing facility in accordance with ISO 9000, ISO 9001, ISO 14000, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), performance and regulatory standards. Other tasks included: stock control, re-ordering through approved suppliers by use of Systems Applications & Products in data processing (SAP), adherence to the company’s quality management system, housekeeping, calibration of equipment and instruments. Non-routine testing included report preparation and validation work. Co-operation between a multi-disciplinary team generating ways to improve processes, controlled documents, ensuring compliance etc. My role as a records coordinator included training staff on updated procedures, when new documents had been released. As a health and safety representative, I performed weekly health and safety audits, across the labs within Quality Assurance and the factory, as well as improving on health and safety within the site. Prior to leaving Systagenix, I had crossed trained with staff, in the chemistry department testing materials/products using the Burkard analyser, HPLC and near-infrared spectrometer
