As a Board Member of FICGN and a Program Coordinator at Southern New Hampshire University, I am passionate about empowering deaf and incarcerated communities through education and advocacy. I have a Master of Education in Special Education and Deaf Education from The Ohio State University, where I also earned my Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature. I attended Marion Technical College for three years pursing a degree in Business Administration with a focus in Human Resources Management. I received my Masters in English Literature from Southern New Hampshire University in June of 2024 and am now working on my Masters in History and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing.With over 10 years of teaching experience, I have developed strong communication, team building, and training skills, as well as leadership, coordination, and planning abilities. I have also contributed to various volunteer efforts, raising over $100,000 USD for charity. In my current roles, I work with diverse and marginalized populations, providing them with access and opportunities to higher education and employment. I am eager to utilize my skills, talent, and experience to find my second chapter in my career, where I can make a positive impact and achieve my goals.
