He did all of this with an obvious enthusiasm for his own role that the audience found inspiring and exceedingly attractive as a future career path. His relaxed conversational style, and clear presentation really brought home his skills in communication to the audience. Ben's insight into the challenges that academic researchers face enabled him to put across information that was contextually meaningful and achievable and that enabled the seminar audience to really understand his role, the recruitment process, and the skills required. He pitched his presentation skillfully, allowing practical suggestions to come through and giving real value to staff and students of the university. Overall this was a great success, and I will certainly invite him back to deliver a similar session next year."
