Hello! I'm Ben Johnson, a dedicated finance major at Pepperdine University with a strong passion for the wealth management industry. I earned my Associate's Degree in Business from Bellevue College (2021) while concurrently completing my High School diploma at Skyline High School (2021). I will graduate from Pepperdine University with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance in December 2024. Following graduation I will be a Financial Advisor at Pesta & Pesta Wealth Management.As an active member of Pepperdine’s Premier Investment Analyst Group, I gained hands-on experience in portfolio management, developed investment strategies, and participated in high-impact stock pitches and events.My professional experience is steadily growing, and I’m eager to connect with fellow finance professionals. In the summer of 2022, I interned as a Data Analyst with Authentic ID, where I analyzed customer data and contributed to strategies that improved client satisfaction and operational efficiency. In 2023, I worked at Fidelity Investments as an Investor Center Intern, providing client support and gaining insights into personal investing and financial planning. Most recently, during the summer of 2024, I interned with Pesta and Pesta Wealth Management, collaborating closely with CEO Derek Pesta and his team on client interactions, portfolio management, and strategic financial planning. Additionally, I obtained my SIE and Series 65 certifications during this summer as well.Outside of my academic and professional pursuits, I enjoy staying active by working out, playing sports, traveling, exploring the outdoors, and listening to music.I’m always looking to grow and learn from those around me.
