I worked in property management, with a focus on tenancy renewals. In this role, I developed skills in negotiating favorable and justifiable rent increases between tenants and landlords. As a customer success manager, I ensured that our landlords were getting the most out of their portfolios by advising them on upgrades that would yield high ROI and maintenance work that would go along with the rent increases. I also helped to ensure tenant satisfaction by negotiating increases that were reasonable and acceptable to them and by ensuring that all necessary maintenance work was done in a timely manner.My brief time on the lettings side of the business gave me a holistic understanding of how the business works and sustains itself.
