Ben was formally in the Singapore Police Force for 5 years to serve his national service. During his service, he has undergone studies in Law and achieved the Best in Professional Studies in Law in 2004. In addition, Ben has a diversified education background which covers many different areas such as mechanical engineering, law, branding, internet marketing, real estate investing, insurance, derivatives trading, investment analysis, business management, accounting, sales, marketing and client management. Ben joined Matthew James International in July 2009 as the Operations Manager. His vast experiences in the areas of business management, finance, sales, marketing and branding have enabled him to develop, efficient and executable plans and systems to support the business effectively. The implementations of these plans and systems have also enabled him to provide better client relations and support. Ben was re-assigned as the Business Development Manager in March 2010 to develop the business structure and investments. This involves traveling regularly across the Asia Pacific Region to identify new opportunities, to manage existing client relations and also to create new ones.Ben began trading in the stock market as a private trader in 2004 specializing mainly in derivatives.
