- As a registered lobbyist, I represent Great Ed's legislative interests at the Colorado State Capitol. My duties include: tracking relevant bills; meeting with legislators; attending committee hearings; recruiting people to testify on bills and writing testimonies; organizing and executing Great Ed's annual Lobby Day; supporting and opposing education funding specific legislation. - Draft the majority of Great Ed's written communications, including emails, press releases, letters to the legislature, policy coalition agendas, the weekly Lobbying Newsletter, LTEs and op-eds.

Develop communications materials and conduct research for a wide variety of clients including health care, labor unions, political candidates, non-profits, and private sector companies.-Draft op-eds, letters to the editor, press releases, dossiers, one-pagers; pull and organize press clips for clients twice weekly.-Using Canva, draft flyers, informational one-pagers with graphics and other campaign literature for print and distribution on social media sites. -Manage two social media accounts for health care client, creating daily posts and tracking activity/following; contribute to weekly social media and press clips report. -Participate in weekly client calls to track progress, including documenting the position of relevant bills in the legislature.-Updated monthly campaign finance records for 2019 Denver City Council and Mayoral races. -Figured out pricing for mass messaging system for campaign client, sent texts, participated in strategy sessions for finance, field, and digital; scripted campaign commercials for social media.

Provided field support for candidate for Colorado governor.- Canvassed over five-hundred doors and made over one-thousand phone calls to potential supporters.- Recruited and trained volunteers to assist with campaign initiatives- Oversaw Boulder, Adams County, and Broomfield field offices as needed, including staffing and coordinating canvassing activities, record keeping and reporting.- Conducted research on “know before you owe” policies and how states can best streamline and clarify the college loan process for parents and students.- Remained on the campaign as a field volunteer after graduating in July 2018.
