The Alliance was founded to specialise in public events and alternative content, achieving spectacular results to become one of the most respected public events promoters in the Middle East & North Africain a short period, and winner of the Middle East’s top industry award for three consecutive years. In a four‐year period over 200,000 people came through the doors at Alliance Events, and I engaged in all aspects of the business from event strategy & planning, sponsorship sales & relationship management, talent management & curation, marketing & creative strategy right through to budgeting & operation. Working in a fully integrated way from concept through to promotion and production we grew to 12 staff and also launched 3 new major live event concepts in 3 years.With our focus on youth culture, entertainment, art and entertainment events we achieved a number of firsts.The Middle East Film & Comic Con (2014-2018) – In 5 years we grew the event from the first of its kind in the entire region to become a tentpole in the regional events calendar and considered one of the top conventions in the world with over 65,000 visitors per year.Games Middle East (2015-2016) – At the time the region’s biggest gaming exhibition and the UAE’s first major International eSports Tournament. The event attracted 26,000 visitors in its first year under Alliance management and achieved the UAE’s highest ever online consecutive views count.Anime Abu Dhabi (2017) - An Anime & Japanese pop culture event attracting 14,000 visitors in its first year, the highest ever for a 1st time non-sporting or music event in the capital at the time.
