The Springwell Academy group centres their education and care around Unconditional Positive Regard and aims to create a welcoming, caring and nurturing environment for it's students. It also focusses on strong relationships the children and young people but also parents, carers and the community. It allows children and young people to learn and grow with tailored learning journeys that are specific to the needs of the individual and often involves creative, engaging and vocational activities. Working at Springwell has allowed me to gain an understanding of Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs amongst children and young people and provided me with knowledge and approaches to care for and attend to the needs in the interest of the individual, striving for the best possible outcomes.

Working for an Agency provided me with valuable experience within a wide variety of both educational and residential settings for children and young people. I was placed in both mainstream and alternative settings and worked with children and young people with a diverse range of needs, backgrounds and circumstances.
