I helped students in ECON 352: Advanced Econometrics complete their lab assignments where they applied econometric techniques in Stata using real-world data in Fall of 2023. In Spring 2024, I led weekly lab sessions where I teach students in ECON 350: Econometrics how to use Stata to clean data and to use data to answer economic research questions, while also providing help with students' individual economic research projects.

I communicated with data stakeholders to understand the usage and feedback data for a large web application. Additionally, I analyzed Tableau dashboards to identify data points relevant to client goals. To enable future usage of these datasets to improve the user experience in the web application, I documented information about data collection, contents, usage, and access procedures and condensed this information into slides to be presented to the client.

I served as a peer learning assistant for Econometrics, Advanced Econometrics, Introduction to Microeconomics, and Linear Algebra. For Econometrics, I ran lab sessions for multiple course sections in which I taught students how to use Stata using practical examples and assisted students with data cleaning and model interpretation in their own research projects. For Introduction to Microeconomics, I led group problem solving sessions. For all of these courses, I held office hours to help students beyond regular class-time.

I assisted in the cleaning of a large educational dataset using Stata. This dataset was used in a multinomial logistic regression model to assess the impact of same gender instructors and classroom gender composition on persistence in a STEM degree program. I also helped write the forthcoming paper using this dataset and model, interpreting the model results in the context of the literature on persistence in undergraduate STEM degree programs. On separate projects, I created and documented a custom R workflow for extracting relevant data from Latent Markov Models and merged, transformed, and filtered clinical trial and FDA approval data using Python and Pandas.
