As an in-house transporter, I learned to adapt to emergent situations as I worked overnight mostly in the intensive care unit and emergency department area of the hospital. I effectively and efficiently communicated with healthcare providers and patients via phone and Epic system in order to transport patients to their proper locations. During the height of Covid-19, I adhered to all safety protocols to ensure patient and staff well-being.

The primary focus of this internship was to obtain and evaluate years of relevant experience based on updated resumes from all SGMC employees. In a Muti-stage process, I collaboratively identify approximately 2,000 resumes that were needed, contacted employees, and demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills when connecting with employees and leaders. When given an assignment related to recruitment I took the lead with great confidence and a natural recruiting ability in my outreach to finding the right hire.
