I am a senior in Fordham University studying English Literature, with a focus on text analysis and editorial work. While at school I have worked a full-time job as a support staff at the restaurant La Cuchara in Baltimore, MD. My job revolved around anticipating and catering to the needs of both the clientele and my coworkers, and to ensure that the restaurant moved as smoothly as possible. The job improved my social skills by leaps and bounds, and made me comfortable and proficient at working in a dynamic environment. As one of the leading staff in my position, I became used to having to delegate responsibilities to others in my position while still focusing on making sure that I was doing my work as efficiently and effectively as possible. I'm still searching for what I wish to pursue as a career, but I am open to careers that help me grow long-lasting personal and career skills, especially those that hone my technical writing skills. Ultimately I want a career that challenges me daily, and that offers me tasks that I am proud of when I complete them.Thank you for taking the time to read this!
