I am an accomplished professional musician working as a freelance drummer and tutor throughout the UK. I have toured and played internationally in Portugal, Switzerland, France, The Netherlands and Germany. I have extensive teaching experience with colleges, schools and music services around the UK since graduating in music from Huddersfield University in 2011.I have a good knowledge of drum kit, djembe and percussion playing, as well as a fine grasp of time keeping and groove, from years of studying and ensemble playing. I enjoy teaching and can enthuse students whilst developing the required skills to master an instrument. My current portfolio of work is varied and involves collaborations with independent artists and bands across the UK. I have several years’ experience playing professional functions and weddings, delivering an eclectic list of songs for individual events. The professionalism, knowledge and experience needed to thrive in these environments has given me invaluable experience and allowed me to grow as a musician. I have my own transport and professional industry standard equipment. I am a registered member of the Musicians Union, certified with the DBS.
