• Directed a team of engineers and technical staff as project manager for UBC Pharmacy, an approx. 250,000 sq.ft. building with large mechanical budget, rigorous laboratory design guidelines and LEED Gold certification• Earned Stantec Design Excellence Award for work on UBC Pharmacy project• Tracked project budgets, wrote proposals, negotiated contracts, monitored schedules and participated in management meetings to review team performance• Provided mechanical design in new construction and renovation projects for Institutional building projects including schools, with a special focus on Health Care• Completed a diversity of Health Care designs including operating rooms, emergency departments, intensive care units and isolation rooms• Coordinated team of authors, edited and wrote Healthy Air chapter for the International Living Building Institute – Living Building Challenge standard• Achieved LEED certification and regularly implemented green building techniques

• Performed AutoCad drafting for As-Built drawings and new construction projects• Conducted investigative site visits focused on mapping existing duct layouts, identifying equipment, and verifying mechanical and architectural plans• Completed Canadian Building Incentive Program (CBIP) Advanced EE4 Training

• Installed dozens of meteorological data towers in remote and difficult locations while acting as lead site supervisor to field personnel on several sites• Interpreted engineering plans, managed inventory, tracked installed equipment, programmed and wired equipment, and scheduled operations and required personnel• Managed wind monitoring site database with ability to generate customized reports

• Managed projects, coordinated trades and site contractor meetings• Developed estimates, quotations, pricing, billing and final documentation• Performed investigative site visits, completed design work and selected equipment
