Epilepsy is surprisingly common with ~1/3 of patients’ seizures not controlled by drugs. Even with new diagnostic & treatment options, most eligible patients are not even evaluated for these life-changing options…but I think there’s a way to fix that!- Developed comprehensive epilepsy strategy spanning the care continuum from early EEG & community-based drug management to tertiary center workup for neuromodulation & surgery.- Structured the process & drove cross-business teams to a go-to-market strategy across product, evidence, regulatory, reimbursement, call-points, & commercial plans with data-driven market & revenue models.MRI-guided laser ablation has changed neurosurgery. Laser ablation has gone from unclear indications, no reimbursement, & low adoption, to having clear guidelines, solid coding & payment, & growing adoption. In epilepsy, laser ablation is a standard surgical offering & is trained in stereotactic functional fellowships, but has room to grow in utilization. In brain tumor, it has become a valued tool with increasing adoption, but application varies widely, & is only at the top institutions…but I think there’s a way to fix that!- Structured the process & drove cross-functional teams to a go-to-market strategy across product, evidence, reimbursement, call-points, & commercial plans with data-driven market and revenue models- Reorganized US marketing team, onboarded new team members, & developed operating mechanisms to directly reflect strategic priorities- Led upstream & downstream marketing, & medical education to develop a 3-year strategic plan to drive share & growth with actionable leading and lagging KPIs- Expanded indications allowed expansion of call points upstream of the neurosurgeon - launched new website & collateral, trained sales on care pathways with new sales messaging & market development programs- Conducted strategic pricing analysis & rolled out standardized pricing to 90% of active accounts
