Oversaw the ‘cross the isle’ migrations of applications for eight lines of business areas transforming their application onto new bank standard hardware and virtual platforms. Heavily involved with the lead-up and execution of each of the 600+ migration.

Migration Program Manager for data centre exit programs.Working at DB I have now successfully completed five data centre migration programs in the UK, US, and India. When not performing data centre exits I have been heavily involved in application transformation work from high cost to low cost platforms.

Infrastructure project management and infrastructure architecture work to migrate away from legacy AS400/RPG to an open systems solution based on AIX, WebSphere, CRM/BPM and Oracle Financials. The role required the general architecture to be detailed, budgeted and procured and involved liaison with both the internal organisation and the external suppliers. In additional to this work was carried out in conjunction with various other smaller general items of work as required by the on-going business requirements. The most notable was an upgrade of the company’s primary WAN connections within Peterborough and project managing enhancements and new infrastructure for BGL’s comparethemarket.com internet website.
