W Energy Software offers fully integrated enterprise accounting software to oil and gas companies. My role as an Implementation manager included learning and managing the the implementation of our Land Management software. I oversaw a small team of 3-5 employees in an effort to analyze our customers' needs and implement our software in a way that suited them. This included discovery, requirements gathering, conversion, training activities, status reporting, and client relations.In addition to my responsibilities in my previous role, I was really able to cultivate my personal management style and build my project management skills. It also allowed me to take more ownership of the project life-cycle, and directly impact my customers' success leading to 5 successful implementations.

I implemented and aided in the design of Waterfield’s Upstream Accounting software solution. My role on a day to day basis involved creating, reviewing, and revising design documents for brand new features in the software. Additionally, I maintained the privilege of consulting clients on system usage and business practices during an implementation. I served as a subject matter expert and mentor for junior employees, and was able to demonstrate a larger capacity for creative problem solving.

Houston, Texas Area

Qurorum Software offers a suite of enterprise oil and gas software. I implemented Quorum's software solutions for ~7 clients. I served as an implementation lead on a full upstream suite install where I oversaw core financial and cost accounting configuration and system stability. My role encompassed an in-depth knowledge of SQL, software solution builds and deployments, and other technical aspects. In addition to technical skills, I worked carefully to engage clients in solution design, and optimized business processes for the most successful outcomes.

My first entrepreneurial experience included a position with this fantastic start-up. Being that we were a small company, I was extremely involved in all aspects of the business, and I learned something new each day. Throughout my tenure, I improved a successful marketing initiative via social media which led to an 10% increase in customer acquisition. Additionally, I helped design and implement a market expansion plan that led us to increasing our presence from one university campus to ten. Day to day, I had responsibilities in the following areas: human resources, accounting, finance, and operations.

My time here provided me with exposure to a plethora of tasks and duties in and effort to serve many small customers. In my first foray into consulting, I worked on several small projects with stints in analyzing financial data or assisting with customers' marketing campaigns.
