While studying at the University of Cincinnati, I gained the following journalism experiences:• Editorial intern at Cincinnati Magazine, where I wrote stories and fact-checked information for both online and print. My supervisors praised my initiative, work ethic, and reporting and writing abilities.• Sports reporter at The News Record, the University of Cincinnati’s student-run new organization, where I covered games and wrote feature stories, including opinion pieces, game recaps, and breaking news stories. In both the classroom and workplace, I have developed a reputation as a journalist who is always willing to take new assignments, even it if means stepping out of my comfort zone. I’m a determined reporter with a curious mind, and I always make my deadlines.
