Throughout my apprenticeship I was responsible for providing draughting support to many of the company's projects. This work predominantly consisted of producing engineering drawings such as field layouts, fabrication drawings, storyboards and deck layouts.In order to help develop my skills and experience other aspects of the business I spent a large amount of time working within the asset department. Whilst continuing to carry out draughting tasks I was also able to assist my colleagues with asset specific tasks such as mobilisations onto vessels, managing maintenance and procurement of critical spares. This work allowed me to gain experience working with a variety on departments within the company as well as a number of third party contractors.
