In 2004, my career in Intellectual Property took flight as a patent examiner with the US Patent & Trademark Office. I examined applications in the electrical arts, primarily computer networking (Class 709). During my tenure as an examiner, I issued over 100 patents. After ten years of federal service, I entered private practice and now focus on obtaining IP protection for inventors through the preparation and prosecution of patent applications. I have experience working on behalf of a wide range of clients, from independent inventors to Fortune 100 companies and all points in between. Outside of patent work, I enjoy getting involved with the local community and taking on pro bono projects.
