Currently investigating novel ferroelectric materials for applications in microelectronics and advanced computing. Synthesis is done using sputtering and pulsed laser deposition (PLD) technologies. Synthesized samples are further analyzed using x-ray diffraction and electrical characterization. Research updates are presented in biweekly meetings.

I used problem-solving and time management skills to design and conduct battery electrode deionization experiments. These experiments were constructed to increase the efficiency and predict the reliability of electrochemical desalination. Additionally, I demonstrated public speaking and collaboration skills when presenting statistical analysis of empirical data at weekly meetings. Meetings consisted of constructive criticism which aids in improving the design and analysis of experiments. I was recently published in a paper including my work over the past year titled "Recovery of ammonium and phosphate using battery deionization in a background electrolyte."

I performed a number of duties at Dunmore, predominantly creating and analyzing data pertaining to manufacturer plastic films. In addition to data analysis, I performed lab duties including coating, laminating, corona treating, and metallizing thin film samples. Afterwards, I conducted several analytical techniques on these samples such as bond strength testing, adhesion testing, light transmittance testing, and Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy. Lastly, I observed and assisted with several of the aforementioned lab processes on an industrial scale, including thin film coating, laminating, and metallizing.
