Employed by UTC with the intent of starting a pipeline division in the oil & gas industries here in north Texas and other surrounding areas. Employed as a project manger as well as an estimator. Starting as a new division here in Texas it was part of my responsibilities in bring in existing clients and new clients and setting up MSA documents to begin bidding work. My responsibilities as an estimator consists of looking at projects per the customers request, estimating the project against numerous contractors, and if awarded the project, then facilitate in the project management aspect of my position. Project management consists of implementing crews and equipment onsite, delegation of daily duties/tasks best forseen for the project, review of all documents on a daily basis, daily communication with the customer, and the overall finances being delegated towards the project.

Again my responsibilities consisted of looking at numerous projects per the customers request. Establishing an estimated proposal, detailed schedule, and other required documentation per the scope of work. And again facilitated in numerous responsibilites in managing projects and the continuation of constent communication with the client.And also helped the day to day responsibilities in the management piece of my responsibilities pertaining to time approval of our work force, overseeing the daily activities throughout the field office, job cost of projects, implementation of documents, and the regular communication with the main office in reporting day to day activities.

Working for this company was a great experience and gave me the oppurtunity to dive in and expand my career in several different aspects in the pipeline construction industry. I also listed the four seperate positions, because that what I did. My daily responsibilities included the management of a small field office in Weatherford Texas, conducting daily time keeping of numerous crews, delegation of daily purchase orders/expenditures for projects, financial invoicing of current projects, safety, and the overall overseeing of the field office for T&R's best interests.I also began the estimate side of my career and bid several projects throughout my duration with T&R, being awarded projects, and again beginning to learn the project managment aspect of my position. Again this entailed looking at projects per the customers request, establishing a good estimated cost proposal, and a detailed schedule entailing the construction of the project. I also began the actual management of projects which entailed my daily visit to the project out in the field, observing/learning, coordination/communication with the field management, and again continuous communication with the customer. I was also partially responsible and helped in bringing additional clientel and projects to the company that I bid and helped managed throughout its construction process.

Driver Pipeline was the start of my career and reputation in this industry. I did not start as an Office Manager, but put that as my title because that is what I did towards the end of my time with Driver and began my management experiences.My duration with Driver started with working out of there Pearland office out in the shop laboring, ordering parts, establishing permits for haul trucks delivering equipment, and a basic overall concept of the pipeline industry. I was then implemented out into the field with running parts and working on several different crews in the field, to continue broadening my knowledge and experiences in the industry. And then I was taught how to be a Field Office Manager and facilitated that role for about the next two years on the road and 8 projects later. My responsibilities included the reconnaissance of a staging yard/field office location before the project began. Implementing a lease agreement with the landowner for the staging yard. Setting up utilities, begin mobilizing equipment, establishing existing and new vendors in order to make purchases on a daily basis. I also facilitated in the reporting and entering of time per the crew in the companies accounting system as well as entering equipment usage in the companies accounting system. Implementation of company documents and other progress reporting documents back to the main office. Delegation of daily tasks and needed purchases to a parts runner and overseeing his daily responsibilities. Finally, overseeing the beginning stages of contract billing/invoicing, accountability for out of scope aspects of the project, and communication with the customer on a daily basis.
