26 years of aviation operational, sustainment, logistics, and personnel management experience for regional and global aviation acquisitions and implementation programs. Starting from humble beginnings as an enlisted U.S. Coast Guard member, I have dedicated my life to public service, where I have been provided the opportunity to master my craft as a professional pilot, Coast Guard Aeronautical Engineering Officer, aviation accident investigator, and a six-sigma process improvement analyst. Additionally, I was provided the opportunity to excel as a Type 1 Air Operations Branch Director during Deepwater Horizon and Hurricane Florence incidents, and as a helicopter rescue crew member during Hurricane Katrina. Transitioning from federal government to the state of California, I have been privileged to lead and support some of the hardest working and dedicated public servants within the CAL FIRE aviation family, where we have modernized aviation fire suppression policy, increased operational capabilities by leveraging technologically advanced aircraft, overhauled training programs, and implemented measured night fire suppression systems under a holistic safety management program.
